What is Psychology Society?
The Psychology Society (PsychSoc) is a volunteer-based student society that provides academic and social support to Psychology majors in the Faculty of Science and Arts. We provide resources and connect undergraduates with personal and professional development opportunities for their degree. Our goal is to help enhance the undergraduate experience at the University of Waterloo, and be a space for like-minded individuals to meet and foster connections. All members are encouraged to volunteer and gain relevant experiences in planning and organizing events/workshops. Including but not limited to Graduate School Information Sessions, Alumni Panel, Meet the Profs, Movie Night, Multicultural Event, and Peer Mentorship Program.
The society serves as a direct connection for undergraduates to the Psychology faculty and various departmental clubs. Any academic related concerns can be relayed to the Psychology Society Executives for further support.
The Psychology Society is your Student Government and we represent you on the Science Society Board of Directors and the Arts Student Council.
